Who lives at Heirloom East Bay?

Heirloom exists to nurture a diverse community of people that practice hospitality, sustainability, and creativity in the midst of a busy culture. In living differently, we bear witness to the Love of God in our world.

What is living at Heirloom like?

At Heirloom, residents are somewhere between roommates and chosen family. Our intentional community members believe that this season of their lives is best supported by our common practices. We participate in a shared rhythm that includes:

  1. Weekly Community Prayer

  2. Eating meals together

  3. Learning to live more sustainably

  4. Rest and Play

Do you welcome members of the LGBTQIA+ community?

Yes. While no intentional community is perfect, we aim to include, learn from, and be led by people from all walks of life.

Do you accept couples?

Yes. Several of our spaces are large enough to accommodate couples.

Is Heirloom associated with a Denomination?

Yes. Though membership in any faith community is not required to live on the farm, Heirloom is a house church within the NorCal District Church of the Nazarene.

How much does it cost to Live at Heirloom?

Each room on the farm is priced by size and ammenitites. Spaces range in cost from $600 + utilities to $1250 + utilities —some of which are large enough to be shared by roommates or a couple.
